Visual Factories Ltd. provides production monitoring software for manufacturers. We act as the controller for personal data collected through our website and marketing channels, and as a processor for data collected on behalf of customers through the platform.

• Messaging identifiers, including WhatsApp identifiers, where you choose to contact us through those channels.
• Machine-generated data from connected production equipment, machine state, cycle counts, downtime events and related operational measurements.
• Usage and technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and interaction events, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use it

• To provide, operate, support and improve the Visual Factories platform.
• To respond to enquiries and demo requests.
• To send service communications and, where permitted, relevant marketing.

We rely on performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting the service, your consent where required (for example marketing and non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

Hosting and sub-processors

Platform data is hosted on Microsoft Azure. We also use service providers for analytics, email delivery, customer support and payment processing. Providers are bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations and may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements, or as agreed with the customer whose production data we process.

We operate an information security management system certified to ISO/IEC 27001, with access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring and regular review of our controls.
